The thought of decorating for the seasons seems like fun. All of the intricately decorated homes you see on social media is just a dreamy winter wonderland that definately hypes you up for the holidays. What I want to know is….where do you all store this stuff? Serious question.
I keep most things in the attic, even then, it’s a little cramped up there. We started with one 10ft tree in the living room and a 7ft tree in the basement….which quickly turned into adding a pencil tree in the dining room for all of my Waterford ornaments.
Fireplace garland is from Grandin Road – 6′ Cascading Christmas Garland. I Have two of these becasue my mantle is longer thn 6′. I also let them drape down the sides rather than sitting just on top since I had the extra garland.
Tree skirt and stockings are from RH in the color natural.
Clear glass ornaments are Frontgate, Hobby Lobby, and belk over the years. Gold ball ornaments are plastic and came from Hobbly Lobby. I’m not into decorating with seasonal themes and trends. I decorate with what I like and try to keep it relatively timeless to go with the occasional decor swapping.
All furniture is from RH – Restoration Hardware.
Curtains are Belgian Linen in color sand
Table and Cabinet (50″X 19″X91″) is part of the St. James collection in Antiques Coffee. Captian chairs are Belgian Wingback Slipcovered Arm Chairs in color sand. My side charis have been discontinues but these were my second choice.
Centerpiece is Waterford. I have no link for it because it is a lmited edition numbered piece which is no longer for sale. The design is a rendition of the Lismore collection.
Ornaments are mostly Waterford as well. I started this collection years ago and keep adding to it every year. I’m so grateful to have friends and family continue to add to my waterford ornament collection. I cannot thank you enough. I’ll love them forever and will always think of you. I may need a bigger tree for them in a couple of years.
Tree is from Home Depot – Slim Manchester
Ornaments are from various places. My husband wanted this tree to be the “fun tree”, which is basically an interest tree full of things we like. Previously it was filled with super heros, basketballs, footballs and golf balls but we’ve since been adding other things to it that we enjoy. We have the Iron Throne, Big Bang Theory characters, food and drink items, etc.
The bar cart is from Bed Bath and Beyond. We have long outgrown it as we have more of the collection elsewhere. We collect bourbon and wine (mostly the dry reds like cabs). I’m hoping by this time next year I will have completed the wine cellar underneath our stairs.
Scales, sideboard (72″), and Indonesian Oyster Branches are from RH.
Grape vine branches were my grandmothers.
