Drift is one of the newer places in the area and quickly became a favorite with their atmosphere and very covered outdoor patio that also feels very much indoors. the outdoor views are a huge bonus and a welcome addition to the area.

Highly underrated in Gastonia, their brunch is one of my favorites. I live for a solid eggs Benedict, specifically a good crab cake benedict. Their shrimp and grits is also a good runner up. We also order sushi from them every Monday night. Why this place isn’t more packed is beyond me

While there is more to be desired from the atmosphere, the food makes up for it.

Given the location, I didn’t have high hopes for this place. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised. This is now my regular pho go-to, especially in the cooler months. Secretly wishing for some drunken noodles.  I typically order the Pho with rare beef only.
