Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Cheese and beer. Beer and cheese. German food. Cows. Lots of cows…and golf and beer. That’s basically Wisconsin. It also gave me a very updated 80’s vibe throughout the whole place. Not a place I would say you needed to go out of your way for, but it’s a neat place to check out, especially if you like beer and cheese.

Pabst Brewery Tour
This was by far the best brewery tour, truly a very personal feeling tour. Our tour guide had great stories and told us all about ht ehistory of the building, what prohibition was like and how they survived, what it was like to work for the company and drink beer on the job, and how they came about with Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Alpine Valley
In case nobody knew by now, my husnand is a huge DMB fan…like, he’d follow them on tour if he could. One of the things he wanted to do was see them play at the top 3 venues. We’ve already been to The Gorge and now Alpine Valley is completed. Next up is Saratoga Springs. I’m still undecided if I will be going to that one. However, wild I’m not a super fan or anything, I do enjoy enjoy them for about the first hour or 2 and after that, I lose a lot of interest. I can’t do anything nonstop for such an extended period of time. DMB fans are special, for sure. I do enjoy the new venues and new cities it’s taken us. Oh, and this time…my husband met Buddy Strong while we were in the airport…I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing that interaction and snapping that picture.Â
What and Where We Ate
Lakefront Brewery was a good one…super packed but good. We stopped along a shop after exiting the riverwalk location that consisted of a cheese grocery store and a bar on the other side that served the cheese they sold. We found a German restaurant, Maders, downtown as well. I like german food but apparently I don’t like it in mass quantities…it’s just too heavy on my stomach. Good, but heavy.Â
Medinah Country Club
