Torrey Pines
My husbands “must stop” on our travels up the coast. I have to say…it’s nice. I’m not mad at it. Ah, can we just move to Cali? I didn’t know much about Torrey Pines…but I did learn about the pines and Torrey Pine is actually a pine tree and there are alll over the course and La Jolla. Makes sense why their logo is a Torrey Pine. I did attempt to research if these trees would grown in NC so we can have some of our own. In case you’re wondering…they don’t.Â
La Jolla Cove
Easily, this was one of my favorite places around San Diego…probably becasue of the animals close by. If there’s animals around, I’m sure to find them. We ventured near the seals and sea lions. We watched the sea lions vs the tourists for the longest time and found the entrance to the sea cave in the middle of a small shop. The Â
La Jolla Sea Cave
I wasn’t prepared for this. I was equipped with just a pair of flip-flops with zero grip while being completely our of shape. Down the narrow, wet slippery stairs we went.
