I’m Misty.

I grew up in a small town in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest VA and I’ve lived in Georgia, Tennessee and am now in North Carolina. In 2016 I married my partner in crime, Michael, and we acquired a floofy, bouncy Maltese we named Luka…expect to see a lot of him. 

I’m a web developer, photographer, traveler and foodie that loves chasing Michelin restaurants. I’m an amateur chef and I love cooking, creating and sharing my favorite recipes. I tackle home projects and enjoy yard work. I’m a mess of ADHD most days and my interests are all over the place…how I get anything done most days is a mystery. Sometimes I don’t…and I’m learning that’s ok. 

I enjoy the outdoors with activities such as hiking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, and gardening. When I’m not outside, I enjoy gaming and seeking a creative outlet.  

Fashion isn’t something I do well. I’m very basic, avoid patterns, gravitate toward monochromatic and dark colors (often black) while hiding from the sun like it’s Covid. I’m not ya fashion girl. 

I’ve created this as part outlet and part accountability. Enjoy my recipes, travels, looking at furniture I like, decor that I don’t now what I’m doing with.
